Overlooking the delightful botanical gardens in Glasgow’s leafy west end, and hidden
within a row of suitably grand terrace houses, the Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel offers one of
the city’s most enchanting stays. Guest rooms are enclosed behind long arched windows
allowing for plenty of light and an enviable view of the gardens from the front of the house,
while high ceilings and tasteful modern furnishings, complete with large beds, marble
bathrooms and exclusive toiletries, make each room exquisitely comfortable.
Family rooms are available with a £40 supplement (under 5s stay for free) while large,
well-appointed double accessible guest rooms are available for those with accessibility
needs and include a wheelchair-accessible path to the lift and wheelchair-accessible
showers, as well as delightful views over the gardens.
The Glasgow Grosvenor hotel has ample wheelchair-accessible public spaces (including
the reception, lift, parking and meeting rooms), a world-class bar and grill on the ground
floor, and a quieter gin bar (BeGin) at the top of the hotel. Grass-fed beef is a menu staple
in the chic Bo’Vine Meats & Wine restaurant, with Chateaubriand to share crowing the
menu alongside Scottish smoked salmon and delicious haggis starters. The wine cellar is
remarkably well-stocked with a range of international wines and a concise, though well-
curated cocktail menu. But cocktail lovers should ascend to the top floor to try a slightly
more daring tipple in the BeGin cocktail parlour, where intriguing, worldly concoctions are
offered through an illustrated menu that details the colourful background story of each
drink. Afternoon Tea is served at the new Terrace restaurant with immersive views over the
gardens.
Conveniently situated in Glasgow’s cosmopolitan west end, the Glasgow Grosvenor offers
quick access to the chic shopping of Byres and Great Western roads, the Kelvingrove
Museum, and the botanical gardens. Guests wanting to travel sustainably around the city
are well-served by Hillhead Underground station which is just 5 minutes away by foot,
while guests travelling by car can take advantage of either the accessible spaces in the
