The family-owned Hotel Rendezvous occupies a stunning location on the banks of the Leeds-Liverpool canal with convenient access to the Yorkshire Dales and the charming cobbled streets of Skipton right on the doorstep. The hotel offers 96 rooms — many with views of the languid canal and the cinematic hills of the dales — and each with access to a modern spa, steam room and indoor swimming pool.

Your stay at the Hotel Rendezvous begins with a pre-stay call from the hotel to keep you up to date with any changing health regulations, and is followed up on arrival by a traditionally warm Yorkshire welcome. And while the welcome remains as warm as ever, it’s been enhanced slightly by a reassuring range of safety measures including contactless self-check-in, hand-sanitising stations throughout the hotel, social distancing compliance and a full itinerary of cleaning regimens in all the public areas and rooms.

These enhanced safety regimens continue into the delightful Baby Swan Conservatory Restaurant, where social distancing is facilitated by a large indoor dining space and a beautiful terrace that straddles the bank of the canal, providing a tranquil backdrop of canal boats slowly floating between Liverpool and Leeds.

The breakfasts here are especially delightful, with the kitchen making full use of many of the local area’s finest suppliers, but if guests prefer, everything can be served directly to your room.
