The Beaumont
About
The authentic 1920’s façade serves as a scene-setting introduction to the Gatsby-like opulence
found within The Beaumont. A faultless personable service greets you at the door, matched to
impeccable interior design, where old-world luxury shimmers amongst period photography and
warmly lit public spaces, creating a residence of immense beauty that constantly calls to mind the
timeless glamour of the roaring twenties.
50 rooms, 11 suites, and 11 studios — including one of the world’s only sleep-in sculptures by Turner Prize-winner Antony Gormley — offer lavish nights of sleep, enhanced by polished wood furniture, a library of classic books (to read in marble baths and indulgent beds), and flawless bathrooms decorated in a soft art-deco style. Rooms include modern conveniences like USB ports, hi-speed internet, and a complimentary in-room bar (for soft drinks), and each is finished to dizzyingly high standards with bronze mirrors and silk curtains accentuating the muted background colours. And, in superior rooms, attractive terraced balconies provide leafy views of Mayfair.
Choose ROOM for an art-forward stay inside the mysterious interiors of Gormley’s three-story high
cubist sculpture that steals the view at the front of the hotel.
Cocktails and champagne sipped in the walnut-panelled interiors of Le Magritte Bar make for a
delightful aperitif before dinner at The Colony Grill Room, where American classics are served in a
New York-style restaurant that radiates with old-world charm. For afternoon tea, try the
new Gatsby's Room, the intimate heart of the hotel, soundtracked by live piano music and
sheltered by the lush greenery of Mayfair. Breakfasts are provided as a charming 'Beaumont
Baker's Basket’, filled with homemade viennoiseries and seasonal preserves, and served with
coffee or tea, and juices.
The 1920’s theme at the Beaumont continues below ground in the stunningly bright marble-
enhanced spa. Amongst the various alcoves and rooms are a plunge pool, a heated marble
Hammam table, a sauna and steam room, a gym, four treatment rooms and a relaxation area.
Beautifying facial treatments use award-winning OSKIA products, while Hammam treatments
utilize traditional elements of a Moroccan Hammam ritual like exfoliations and Dead Sea Mud
wraps. For guests attending an event, Jérémy Perrin Hairdressing provides grooming and
hairdressing for both men and women.
Each room at The Beaumont has use of the hotel’s complimentary emissions-free limousine for
free local trips, making visiting Mayfair’s many bars, restaurants, boutiques and cafes a guilt-free
pleasure. Travel to the bespoke tailors of Saville Row, the designer stores that line Bond Street or
to the art galleries of Cork Street. For lazy walks in the park, a visit to Hyde Park and a spot of
afternoon rowing atop the iconic waters of the serpentine are a must. While close to the hotel, the
red-brick mansions of Mayfair’s illustrious streets provide charming backdrops for days spent as a
Flâneur or Flâneuse, lazily walking from Instagrammable cafes to ornate shopping arcades, and
from chic boutiques to idyllic and flowery English gardens.
