The impressive spaces of L’imprimerie Hotel owe their distinct industrial style to the old printing works that once resided on the same spot. But now, the hotel offers modernity in spades. The chic reception doubles as a co-working space, stacked with books on hodgepodge shelving with striking minimalist decor in warm tones flicked with primary colours lit by warehouse lighting, and there’s a rooftop terrace, bar and spa all within a few hundred metres of the new Paris Courthouse and the headquarters of international brands like L’oreal and Etam.

The 49 rooms at L’imprimerie are well-appointed with large comfortable beds, en suite bathrooms and floor-to-ceiling windows ensuring plenty of natural light and the decor continues the industrial- chic stylings from the public areas with inky blues and high contrast furniture. Bluetooth connectivity ensures a personalised media experience, and much-needed conveniences such as Nespresso machines, a laptop safe, speedy wifi and Osmè toiletries are all accounted for.

Family rooms at L’imprimerie Hotel can accommodate up to five people across two rooms with two double or twin beds and one sofa bed. The hotel’s sanctuary-like relaxation and renewal area benefits from a dry sauna and a gym with a treadmill, an elliptical trainer, an exercise bike and a weight machine, as well as yoga mats, exercise balls and pilates equipment.

Buffet breakfasts at l’imprimerie Hotel are filled with local produce and served in the basement, which, thanks to its large floor-to-ceiling windows that open onto a leafy courtyard, is flooded with plenty of natural light. For mid-day snacks and late-night cocktails, there’s a chic bar built around an island table, a great spot for social get-togethers after exploring Paris. While L’imprimerie Hotel does not have a restaurant, the hotel benefits from a comprehensive all-day room service menu serving a mix of French and Italian classics for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Ideally situated for business travellers L’Imprimerie Hôtel is located in the heart of Clichy and benefits from a quick connection to Champs Elysées via Metro Line 13, just a short walk away.

A small collection of beautifully designed outdoor spaces lends this Clichy hotel buckets of character, but none are quite as charming as the rooftop terrace. Visit in summer for a drink with skyline views, or book it for a private party in your own little corner of Paris.
