Roseate House London
About
Elegant columns, balconies, iron fences and a set of large wooden doors mark the stunning façade
at Roseate House London. The hotel is actually a fusion of three sumptuous 19th-century townhouses,
each as inviting as they are luxurious, and lovingly restored to the grandeur of their Victorian past.
Overlooking the leafy Westbourne Terrace, Roseate House London offers a boutique retreat
oozing with a sophisticated period atmosphere and enhanced by antique furniture, oil paintings,
velvet sofas, open fires and elegant chandeliers.
The 48 individually designed rooms and suites have hand-crafted, exquisitely soft Bellestrata beds,
hand-picked furniture (selected by Jonty Hearnden, antique expert, and presenter of BBC’s
Antiques Roadshow) and limestone bathrooms, while the Roseate’s suites are finished with
mahogany writing desks and boast views over the evocative rooftops and gardens of west
London.
The renowned Hyde Bar and Restaurant offers an impeccable dining space with a modern
European menu that enhances the classic interiors and history of the dining room. Expect scallop
ceviche with avocado sorbet, cold chocolate fondant served with green matcha tea ‘snow’ and an
impressive cocktail and spirit list, perfect for evenings spent watching the locals of Westbourne
Terrace click their heels just beyond the window. An intimate private dining option exists in the
Hyde Garden: a lush secluded terrace that can be adapted to suit the occasion and is perfect for
social bubbles celebrating a special event.
The Roseate’s leafy west London location soon gives way to the vast parklands of Hyde Park,
ideal for romantic, after-dinner strolls around the Serpentine lake, while guests in town for a spot of
shopping are perfectly placed for the boutiques of Mayfair. Culture lovers are well-served by the
theatres and museums that punctuate the busy West End, while Paddington station opens up
travel across London with the newly introduced Elizabeth line and a direct line to Heathrow in less
than half an hour.
Can't Miss Experiences
